WVU Tech Forensic Investigation Summer Camp

The West Virginia University Institute of Technology Forensic Investigation Program is excited to announce the first annual Forensic Investigation Camp for middle and high school students.

The camp will be held from June 12th-14th on the WVU Tech Beckley Campus from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily. The registration fee for the camp is $225 and includes lunch each day and a WVU Tech T-shirt.

The goal of the camp is to provide students with a firsthand look into a career as a forensic investigator. The camp will cover concepts and theories in forensics, but more importantly, a large portion of the camp will be reserved for hands-on and practical exercises. From this, students will gain a better understanding of the type of work performed on a day-to-day basis.

Here is the Forensic Investigation Camp flier. Please share it with your students and/or colleagues.

More information about the camp can be found by going to www.wvutech.edu, and clicking on “Forensic Camp Registration” in the Features section.

Thank you for your time. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at 304-442-3936.
