OHHS Front Entrance closed - beginning February 12

February 8, 2018

Dear Parents and Students,

Beginning Monday, February 12, 2018, the front entrance area of Oak Hill High School will become a construction zone. Due to this fact, we will be adjusting the way students enter and exit the building. The parent/student drop-off area does not look like it will have to change at this point. Students can still be dropped off in the lane between the gym and the tennis courts and enter the building through the gym doors. We ask that parents continue to enter the campus through the Allman Street gate near the football field. Students riding the bus will enter the building through the "new wing" doors.

We will be conducting exit drills at various times of the day to ensure that our students know the procedures if needed. We will do all that we can to ensure that students are safe and the educational environment is impacted as little as possible.

Parents, if you need to enter the school to sign out a student, please enter through the new wing doors. Also, when attending athletic contests, or other events, at Oak Hill High School, we ask that you please enter through the new wing.

The procedures may have to be adjusted from time to time depending on weather and progress on the construction. Please look for notices and signs outside the building. We ask that you please be patient and supportive as we continue to update, upgrade, and renovate our facilities for our students. Please read all notices and listen to all messages.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Timothy J. Payton

Principal
