Community and Services Available

Everyone at some point in their lives needs assistance. Below are some helpful links when facing life’s difficulties.

  • WVDHHR   Contact your local DHHR or select the hyperlink for different programs that are offered.

  • Warm Hands Warm Hearts    This is a community faith-based organization that assists individuals with gloves and coats for our citizens as well as having an addiction recovery group at the Center of Hope, a food pantry, safe bottled drinking water and good fellowship

  • Fayette Family Resource Network Fayette FRN is the local chapter of WV Family Resource Network.  They provide resources and community needs.  Their website has a comprehensive list of resources as well as the resources they offer themselves.

  • FMRS   FMRS provides several programs to help address the needs of youth as well as adults experiencing emotional, behavioral, developmental and substance abuse issues.  The closes office is located in Fayetteville

  • Help 4 WV Help4WV offers a 24/7 call, chat and text line, they provide immediate assistance for any West Virginian struggling with addiction and/or mental health issues.

  • Suicide Prevention Lifeline  If you believe your child, family, friend or yourself are in need of assistance from suicide thoughts, or you see any other warning signs for suicide please use this website.

  • STOP IT Bully app  This is the Stop It app that we use for students to submit a bullying complaint.  The website also has other information about bullying and how to deal with it on their main website.
