Jordan Gray, a nurse from Oak Hill Middle School completed a lesson with Ms. Wingrove’s 2nd grade class at New River Primary. Students learned the proper way to wash their hands and were taught about the different germs that can be found on their hands. Ms. Gray put a gel on the students’ hands to show them the germs and used a light for them to see them. This was a great lesson for young students and a great way to encourage good hand washing skills, as well as implement healthy habits.
