The Summer School program for Fayette County students wishing to enroll in credit recovery for the classes listed on the enrollment form has been approved by the West Virginia Department of Education.  These classes will be held virtually beginning June 12, 2025 and continuing through July 25, 2025.  There will be no tuition fee for Fayette County students.  A certified instructor will monitor students in the credit recovery classes using Odysseyware and be available each day from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Students who satisfactorily complete one of these courses can apply credit to their curriculum affecting retention/credit recovery, with principal’s prior approval.  All classes are credit recovery following credit recovery policy guidelines.  This means all Students will earn a D and one credit for courses taken and completed.  It is unlikely that summer school will assist with eligibility issues. There will be no classes on Federal or State holidays.

Device Pick-up will be one day only on June 12, 2025 from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm at New River Intermediate. No devices will be given out other than this day. If a student requests credit recovery after this date, they will need to have their own device.
