On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, Midland Trail High School was proudly recognized during the Fayette County Board of Education planning meeting for its outstanding partnership with the New River Convention and Visitors Bureau. The formal recognition took place at 10:00 a.m., highlighting the collaborative efforts that continue to expand real-world learning opportunities for students.

The recognition was presented by Robert Crawford and Lynne Bostic of the Education Alliance. Both representatives commended Midland Trail High School and the New River CVB for their shared commitment to connecting classroom learning with authentic, community-based experiences.

The partnership with the New River CVB exemplifies Midland Trail’s focus on providing students with meaningful, hands-on opportunities tied to local industry and community resources.
