In an effort to make our schools as safe as possible, we are asking everyone to please be aware of West Virginia Code 61-7-11a which prohibits weapons of any kind on school property. We understand that many in our community may have permits to carry a concealed weapon, but you are not permitted to do so in a school building or on school property while attending school events.
Fayette County Schools will enforce this law to the best of our abilities and we will notify law enforcement of any violations. We appreciate your cooperation and courtesy in abiding by this law.
Attention all parents of students attending Virtual school for the 2023-2024 school year. Today is the last day to pick up student devices. You can go to the old Rosedale Elementary, 3950 Summerlee Road in Oak Hill to pick up your device. A parent must accompany you if you are under 18 years old in order to sign the acceptable usage form. We will have staff at the old Rosedale Elementary until 3:00 pm today. Thank you
