MTHS is hosting a FAFSA workshop tomorrow October 20 from 5-7PM. There will be financial aid advisors available to help families complete the FAFSA.
The Halloween dance for MTHS grades 6-8 is 10/21/2022. Don’t forget to dress up in costume and concessions. Admission is $5.
Please bring concessions to Ms. Walls to sell at the high school Halloween Dance.
High school pictures will be Wednesday, 10/26/2022. Middle school pictures will be Thursday, 10/27/2022.
Next week is Spirit Week for the middle school. Dress up days are:
Monday—Soccer moms vs. Barbecue Dads
Tuesday—Pajama Day
Thursday—Patriot Day (red, white, and blue)
Friday—Celebrity Day
There will be a high school Halloween Dance on 10/22/2022 from 7-20pm. Dress up and prizes will be awarded.
There will be a Halloween dance for MTHS students only grades 6-8 on 10/21/2022 from 6-8. The admission is $5 and there will concessions.
Prom planning meeting for parents and Juniors will be on 10/5/2022 at 5pm. Also, prom theme ideas are being taken until 10/3/2022. The form is in your students’ emails.
Middle School Student Council nominations are being taken until 10/3/2022. The form is in the students’ emails.
8th grade dance theme ideas are being taken until 10/3/2022. The form is in your students’ email. Also, information about the 8th grade trip in May went home today. This includes payment plans and cost.
After-school tutoring will begin October4, 2022. It will be every Tuesday and Thursday from 3-4 pm. Transportation will be available along Route 60. There are limited spaces. Your student can sign up for after-school tutoring by visiting Ms. Persinger.
If your student is attending Science Adventure School this year, there will be an informational meeting on Thursday, 9/29/2022 at 4:30 pm if you would like to attend.
Today marks the midterm of the 1st nine weeks grading period. Please check your student’s Schoology account for progress. Thank you.

Homecoming week activities:
Monday is little Miss and Mr. day. Everyone will wear their class color to the Powderpuff Football game at 7:00. Freshmen-blue, Sophomores-purple, Juniors-pink, and Seniors-black. The classes can earn extra points by showing up to the game.
Tuesday is pajama day.
Wednesday is Adam Sandler Day. The parade will be in Ansted at 5pm. Line up at 4:15.
Thursday is Vine or Meme day. The classes can earn extra points by showing up to the middle school football game at 6pm.
Friday is Spirit day (red,white, and blue). Classes can get extra points by showing up to the game at 7:30pm. Mr. and Miss Patriot will be crowned at half time.
Saturday is the Homecoming Dance from 7-10 pm grades 9-12. Out of school guest forms must be turned into Mr. Crouch by 9/14/2022.
