Graduation Ceremony update: Canopies will be permitted along the top row of bleachers and around the track from the turns and around the back side of track on the visitor side. Canopies are not permitted to be in place until Noon tomorrow to prevent saving seats. These guidelines will be strictly enforced.
We are monitoring the weather forecast for graduation tomorrow. We will proceed with graduation outside, however, if it is storming during time of graduation we will postpone the ceremony until the precipitation minimizes to a light rain or drizzle. Please plan accordingly. We will keep everyone aware of decisions as we monitor the situation.
Good evening bus 2340 John Stone's bus will be on Plan B for Friday May 19 2023. Bus 1510 (Dave Woods) bus will be doing Plan B on both the morning and evening runs. Students will be picked up approximately 1 hour later in the morning and will leave the school at 12:30 in the afternoon to bring the students home. Thank you and have a good evening.
Honor Graduates has been posted to the Midland Trail Facebook page. Please report to Hawks Nest State Park tomorrow by 8:20AM. Honor Graduate photos will be taken tomorrow for publication in the Fayette Tribune. Attire for tomorrow should be similar to the graduation contract. We look forward to seeing you there!
Senior Awards will be held this Friday at 9AM in the Auxiliary Gym.
Good afternoon parents and guardians of Midland Trail High School. Today at approximately 11:10AM Midland Trail High School administration was made aware of a possible threat to the safety and well being of the students at MTHS. Out of an abundance of caution, it was decided to evacuate the building. During this time Midland Trail High School with assistance from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and Fayette County Schools conducted an investigation to determine the credibility of the threat. It was determined that students and staff were not in danger of a return to the classroom. Classes resumed at approximately 12:55PM. The incident remains under investigation, and action will be taken upon completion of this investigation. We appreciate your support in keeping all students and staff safe. We also extend our appreciation to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and Sheriff Fridley for their prompt response and assistance.

This is a reminder that MTHS will be administering the SAT School Day exam tomorrow to all Juniors! 9th, 10th, and 12th grade students are not to report to school tomorrow.
On Wednesday, April 12 all Juniors will take the SAT School Day exam. Students in grades 9, 10, and 12 will not report on this day.
