Dear Panther Families, I want to wish you all a happy Spring break. Students last day of school before break will be Thursday, April 2, 2026. Students will return to school on Tuesday, April 14. Dear Panther Families, This is a reminder that we will be having Spring picture day on Monday, March 30, 2026. You will receive a proof in a few weeks and then will be able to purchase pictures from that proof. Cardinal Photography will start taking pictures around 9:00am and should be finished by noon.

Dear Parents, This message is for all car rider parents. You may have noticed that “No Parking” signs have been installed along the entrance to New River Primary School and around the car rider loop. These signs mean that parents may not arrive early and park or block the roadway or the entrance to the car rider lane. Despite multiple requests, some parents have been arriving as early as one hour before dismissal. Please be reminded that car rider pickup begins at 3:15 PM, and parents should not arrive before this time. Early arrival creates several serious concerns: • It blocks access to the school, which has already caused issues on two occasions when emergency vehicles needed to enter campus. • It disrupts instruction, particularly for Kindergarten students, who see parked cars outside their classrooms and believe it is time to go home while instruction is still taking place. To ensure student safety and maintain an effective learning environment, please do not arrive before 3:15 PM. If someone else picks up your child, be sure to share this information with them as well. We appreciate your cooperation, understanding, and support in keeping our students safe and minimizing disruptions to learning. Sincerely, New River Primary School Staff

First we have a menu change: Menu change for February 25 Boneless chicken wings French fries Celery Fruit milk Message number two: Hello, Reminder: 2nd Grade Data & Dice Day is tomorrow at 9:30 a.m- 10:30 a.m Caregivers are invited to review your child’s iReady Middle-of-Year Math and Reading data. After a brief presentation in the lunchroom, you’ll visit your child’s classroom to participate in math small group centers. The visit will last one hour due to our lunch schedule. Please limit attendance to two people per child due to space. A valid ID is required for entry, and the Evolve system is in use—please arrive early to allow time for sign-in. Kindergarten and 1st grade dates will be rescheduled; updated information will be shared once those make up days are rescheduled

Save the Children bus #2099 is running late. If your child rides this bus, they will arrive home approximately 15–20 minutes later than usual.
