We have power on the Oak Hill Campus and we will be having school tomorrow. We need to get eyes on our students and provide a warm meal and a warm place for them to learn. I wanted to let you know so you can prepare. We still do not have power in Fayetteville however I know the Hico area was hit pretty hard. Please keep them in your thoughts and if you are in a situation you need help please let me know or someone close to you. If you have any questions please let me know. Dear New River Primary Afterschool Panther Families,
After school tutoring will be cancelled Wednesday, March 27, 2024 as we will be holding parent teacher conferences. After school tutoring will also be cancelled on Thursday, March 28, 2024 as this is the start our spring break. All students will be sent home according to their regular dismissal procedures both days.

Dear New River Primary Panther Families, I have two messages and one is in regard to Busing for Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
Parents, if you have not completed the survey for the 21st Century or the Save the Children after school grant. Please complete it as soon as possible. The link can be found on Class Dojo or our Facebook Page.
We will be following a Plan B schedule for Bus 1944, Adam Derringer elementary only tomorrow, Wednesday, March 27. Students on Bus 1944 only will be dismissed at 1:00 pm to take elementary students home. If you have any questions please feel free to call the school.

I have two announcements one about the Book Fair and one about Busing.
Monday, March 25, 2024, is the last day of the book fair. If you want your child to shop and purchase items from the book fair, you will need to send in your money on Monday.
On Monday, March 25, 2024, we will be using the Plan B schedule for students who ride bus 2234 in the PM. The students will be dismissed early from New River Primary at 1:15 PM. Please make arrangements for someone to be present at the bus stop to pick up your child or children.

Lowery 21st Century Community Learning Center Program. If funded, this academic and enrichment program will offer afterschool and summer programming for students at New River Primary and New River Intermediate. Good evening New River Primary Parents/Guardians. I have a few announcements.
First, this is just a reminder that if you plan to attend Dr. Seuss Night on Thursday, March 7, 2024, your blue RSVP half sheet is due back to the school no later than tomorrow, Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
Next, March the 5, 2024 is our PTA meeting here at NRP at 5:00. Hope to see you there. We will be reviewing and updating the Student, Parent, School Compacts for each grade level as well as the Family Engagement Policy for next School year. We hope to see you there.

I have a few important announcements.
The Oak Hill campus will be every congested this week as Oak Hill Middle School is hosting a basketball tournament and their games for tomorrow starts at 4:15 PM. We anticipate a great deal of traffic on the Oak Hill campus so please do not arrive before 3:30 tomorrow. If you arrive before 3:30 you will be directed to park in the gravel lot until dismissal time starts. Please do not talk or text while dropping off or picking up your children. Please follow the directions of staff on duty. Please obey all traffic signs on campus. Please remember there is no passing in the car rider lane. Pick up time is 3:30. Please do not arrive before 3:30 to pick up your child or children.
Please follow the times provided. Morning drop off starts at 8:05 and ends at 8:35.
Parents when you enter the Oak Hill campus, please park your cell phone. We want to keep our students and staff safe, so we need you to pay attention while driving on our campus.
We are having our Data and Desserts event Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 5:00 -6:30 PM. Please plan to attend. You will meet with your child's teacher and then have a small dessert.
