Dear Panther Families, The pick-up for the Krispy Cream Fundraiser that PTA sponsored will be this Friday, November 10, 2023, from 12 (noon) until 6 pm. There will not be any early pick-ups due to the arrival time of the donuts being between 10 am and 11 am. If a parent is not able to pick up their child's order, they can send someone else to pick it up for them during this time frame. We will utilize the bus loop like the distribution for the PTA fundraiser.

Dear Panther Families, We will be practicing our safety drills this week. So please talk to your child or children about each type of drill. This information was sent home at the beginning of the school year. Also, please be sure to express to your children it is important to practice safety drills just like fire drills so we can be safe at school. I have attached a poster below for your reference so you will have it during your discussion with your child or children. Thank you for your help, support, and understanding as we strive to provide a safe learning environment for our students and your children.

Dear Panther Families, We will start our Parade Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 10:15 AM. Parents a follow up to the costumes for the Halloween Parade. Please make sure that your students wear a costume with regular school clothes underneath. That way they can take off the costume after the parade. We do not want them to wear them all day and run the risk of damaging them at recess etc. We know the costumes cost a lot of money and we want them to have them for Trunker Treat and or Trick or Treat. Thank you for your help.

Day 1, This yea'r Red Ribbon Week Theme is Be Kind TO YOUR Mind. Live Drug Free! The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. It also serves as a reminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities around us through positivity, bravery, and strength. To kick off Red Ribbon Week we had the drug dog here at our school to do a demonstration for our students. The students asked amazing questions and were very interested in the care of the dogs. A great be thank you to the Oak Police Department and Officer Pauley and Officer Wilshire for given their time to share their work with our students. Tomorrow is Wear a Superhero Shirt The theme is a reminder that by staying drug free, you are sending a message to yourself and others about how much you value yourself, your overall health, your community and your future. One thing's for sure...by making healthy choices, like staying drug free, you are much more likely to achieve your goals. So, aim for the stars! We believe in you.
