Congratulations to sophomores Zev Knight and Andrew Wingrove, “Team 6062”, who were awarded the WV State 2024 Let’s Fly Launchpad Award for their student designed RC plane and video submission. These students earned grant monies for the OHHS aerospace engineering program. #6062 was the tail number for Glamorous Glennis, the Bell XS-1 aircraft that USAF Captain Chuck Yeager piloted in 1947, exceeding the speed of sound in history’s first supersonic flight. Congratulations! ✈️

Sectionals Round 2 - you don't want to miss it! Our boys will face off against the Greenbrier East Spartans this evening at 6:30 pm in Lewisburg. Good luck, Red Devils!

A big thank you to New Roots Community Farm in Fayetteville for hosting some of our junior students yesterday as they volunteered to help with the plants and grounds. These students are currently working on a Problem-Based Learning Project about food insecurity, food deserts, and unethical farming, and this allowed them to both see potential solutions and discuss issues with the organizers who are working on putting an end to all three of those issues in different ways. 🥕🥬🍠

Come out tonight and support the Baseball Team as they face Woodrow Wilson in Round 1 of Sectionals! ❤️⚾🖤

Today was an incredible experience! Our Civics teachers took a group of students to cast their votes for the very first time, and witnessing their enthusiasm and understanding of civic duty was truly inspiring. We believe that empowering the next generation to engage in our democratic process is key to shaping a bright future!

Scenes from Baccalaureate 2024 - thanks to Calvary Baptist Church for hosting, Jim Truman for speaking, and all of our graduates who participated!
