⨠Freshman Aerospace Engineering Gallery Walk āØ
Today, our freshmen hosted a Gallery Walk in the STEM Lab to showcase their latest mechanical engineering projects, and their work was impressive! Students were stationed around the lab explaining their designs, demonstrating how their projects worked, and answering questions from visitors.
We were excited to welcome administrators, staff, and guests who stopped by to support our students and see their creativity and problem-solving in action.
The freshmen put in a lot of hard work and were incredibly proud to share what they built. Check out some photos from the event! ā¤ļøš¤ #OAKstrong

ā¤ļøWe are proud to announce our 2026 Teacher of the Year, Mr. Caleb Adams! š¤
A native of Kenova, West Virginia, Mr. Adams graduated from Spring Valley High School in 2011 before earning a Bachelor of Science in Math and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from WVU.
Mr. Adams began his teaching journey at Fayetteville High School in the Spring of 2018 and then joined the Oak Hill family in the fall of 2019. He currently teaches Algebra II, Dual Credit College Algebra, and an SAT Prep course. Mr. Adams helped create the SAT Prep class two years ago in hopes of helping more students attain the PROMISE Scholarship. Outside of school, Mr. Adams spends most of his time with his wife, Lindsay, and their dog Pretzel. Both huge sports fans, they spend most of their evenings cheering on their students at home games. Mr. Adams also spends a lot of his time in the outdoors golfing, kayaking, or hiking with Pretzel.
Speaking on his Teacher of the Year distinction, he says, āI am honored the staff at OHHS chose me as their Teacher of the Year. I am excited to represent our school and show how great our students are.ā
