PTO Will be hosting a Halloween dance on Friday, October 27th. Times will be forthcoming. If parents would like to attend the dance with students, they must have an approved volunteer application on file at the school. These must be completed each year. Volunteer applications must be on file before Tuesday, October 24th in order for parents to attend. You may obtain the form at the school. Parents who do not have an approved application on file will not be permitted to attend.
Donut money is due on Friday! All donut profits go to student field trips.

Attention 4th-8th Grade Parents,
On Friday, October 6th, from 1:30 – 3:30, FPK8 will be hosting the Drug Free All Stars. This Harlem Globetrotters style basketball show will feature some of our own FPK8 faculty and students. It is designed to promote a powerful and positive drug free message.
Cost to attend is $1.00 per student. Teachers will be collecting money during their first period this week.
FPK8 will do a plan b for Fayetteville bus 1207, Jeanette Beals pm run only tomorrow October 3rd. Mike Milam will be at Fayetteville PK8 at 12:45 to take students home. Please make sure someone is home for students. Families will need to send a note with students if they will not be riding the afternoon bus.
Due to the increase in traffic on Rt 19, families can expect a possible delay in bus arrival this evening. In addition, CODA will be cancelled this afternoon. Students will follow their normal dismissal procedures.

Mrs. Adkins' 1st Grade Class is celebrating Apple Day!
They read a book titled, "Not A Box" and then used their imaginations to create their own work incorporating an apple. Check out some of their work!
Please use this form to show interest in reserving a spot for our school's annual Costume Parade and Trunk or Treat on Tuesday, October 31st. This event will start at 1:00 p.m. at the school's football field. There will be approximately 300 students attending. Someone will be contacting you the week before to confirm and give additional information on where to set up. Feel free to decorate a pop-up tent or your "trunk." If you are passing out candy, it must be store-bought/pre-packaged for individual consumption.

FPK8 Families,
This is a reminder that picture day is tomorrow!
FPK8 Will run a plan B bus run for bus 1700 tomorrow, August 23rd for the afternoon run only. Students who ride bus 1700 will be picked up at the school by bus 1207 at 1:30 pm. Please expect bus 1700 students home shortly after their departure at 1:30 pm. This only affects students at FPK8. The morning bus will run as usual. Please send a note to school with your child if you wish to make other afternoon arrangements.
