November 30, 2023 is the second nine weeks midterm. Please check your students' Schoology accounts. If you need a printed copy of their grades please contact the office. Thank you.

Today our 9th Grade PSAP Class concluded their unit on the Spread of Infectious Diseases. The groups presented to a medical panel from Ranielle Medical Center. It’s exciting to see real-world application and community involvement in helping our students learn and grow.



This is a reminder that this year's New Haven Christmas Project will take place on Saturday December 9th at midland trail high school. The parents will be able to shop free for your children as well as the children will also be able to get a gift for the parents . If you have not registered, you must do so by Monday, Dec 4th by 12:00pm. No late applications will be accepted after this date and time. You can register at the link sent to your child's school email or go to the New Haven Christmas Project Facebook page and click on the 2023 registration link. Please only submit one application per household. You will be contacted by phone at the number listed on your application between Dec 5th and Dec 8th with a time to arrive at Midland Trail High School.

Thursday 11/16/23 will be the last day to bring in canned food and non perishable goods for the canned food drive sponsored by the student council. Please send them to with your student. Thank you.

The link to the New Haven Christmas Project has been sent to your child's email address. Please follow the instructions on the link to register. Make sure and register by the deadline date. No applications will be accepted once the link goes down on the deadline date. This is very important......if you have children in multiple schools in the New Haven District, please only submit one application per household and list all children in that household on the same application. The child/children listed on your application must live in your household and you must have guardianship of the child listed on your application.

World Kindness Week at MTHS!


Thanking all those that served Past, Present, and Future.


This week is Red Ribbon week. Our theme is “Be kind to your mind. Live drug free.” At the school, students will engage in activities to promote a drug free and healthy lifestyle. Please partner with us and discuss this message at home, at the dinner table, at family outings, and with friends and family.
The middle school will be dressing up this week for Red Ribbon week. Mondays theme is Pajama Day. Students are encouraged to wear comfy clothes and “Hit snooze on drugs".

Grades Cards went out today, 10/27/2023.

We need to do a plan B for bus 111 tomorrow in the afternoon only. Faye DeQuasie, bus 2442, will be at divide at 1 and at midland trail at 1:15 to take students home.

Senior pictures will 10/24/23. Senior pictures will be taken in drapes and tuxes. Senior women should wear a blouse that comes off the shoulder easily that can be worn under the drape. Senior men need to wear a white T shirt that can be worn underneath the tux shirt. Seniors will receive a 3 proof and package sheet a couple weeks after the shoot. Any student or faculty that didn't have their pictures taken will also have their photos taken on 10/24/23. Virtual students who didn't have their pictures taken need to report between 8-9 am. High school football, cheer, and boys' soccer pictures will begin at 2:15 pm 10/24/23.

There will be a Halloween Dance for MTHS students grades 6-8 tomorrow and 10/20/23 from 6-8pm. Admission is $5.

We need to do a Plan B for Bus 111 tomorrow in the afternoon only. Ed Alfing will be at Divide at 1:00 and at Midland Trail at 1:15 to take Bus 111 students home. Bus 111 will be on regular schedule pickup times in the morning.

Underclassmen, clubs, & fall sports, pictures will be tomorrow, Friday, October 13, 2023. Virtual students are to report between 8-9am for pictures. Please bring your picture money if purchasing. Senior pictures, high school football, and high school cheer will be Oct. 24, 2023. Thank you.
