In an effort to continually evaluate and increase safety measures for all, Midland Trail will be utilizing a new system addition to the current Evolv setup. When students and visitors enter MTHS prior to walking through the Evolv system, all bags will be placed on a conveyor belt and ran through an X-Ray machine utilizing artificial intelligence to eliminate any possible threats. We ask that all students leave your items in your bags. Thank you for your continued support in making Midland Trail High School a safe environment for all.

The prom planning committee meeting for 11/4/2024 has been canceled.
Students may wear their Halloween costumes, 10/31/2024, as long as they are school appropriate, no weapons, no full facial masks, and it meets the dress code.
Senior and 8th grade trip total cost for each student will be $210. The first payment of $55 is due 10/31/24. As was previously sent home in a letter to each grade.

8th graders need to bring in concession items for the Halloween dance. They can place them in Ms. Young's room.
Halloween dance 10/11/2024 from 6-8 pm. Admission is $5 and there will be concessions. MTHS grades 6-8 only.
Beginning October 1, 2024, applications will be available at all middle school and high school offices during the school day to provide free admission to athletic events in Fayette County for all veterans, active-duty military and senior citizens age sixty five and older. Please have appropriate documentation when completing the application. When you enter the gate at these events you will be asked to sign in. The cards will be good for all Fayette County events for the 2024-2025 school year but will not be honored at WVSSAC post season events.
