Mrs. Toney, our 12th grade Civics teacher, and Mechele Rutter, our amazing secretary, were invited to experience this incredible opportunity thanks to the West Virginia Army National Guard.
A special shoutout to Sgt. Abigail Griffith for the invitation and for organizing such a memorable day. We’re so thankful for the partnership and continued support from the Guard.
What a way to show our students that learning and leadership can truly take you places — even thousands of feet in the air!

Due to a power outage we will be dismissing students at OHHS at 12 on buses. Student drivers will be dismissed now (11:00). All students have the opportunity to eat hot lunch before dismissal. Due to the power outage, we cannot use our PA system, so signouts will be nearly impossible. All kids are great! Please allow them to stay in school until buses come.
