It's a #WonderfulWednesday when we get to share incredible students like senior ✨Madilyn Brown✨with you!
Madilyn Brown is a dedicated and hardworking senior whose curiosity about the human body has inspired her future plans. Fascinated by how organs function and how doctors identify diseases, she plans to pursue a degree in biology with the goal of becoming a pathologists’ assistant. She hopes to continue her education at West Virginia University.
A member of the National Honor Society and Upward Bound, she has excelled in her honors and dual-credit classes while also working at Crumbl Cookie for nearly two years—all while maintaining excellent grades.
Outside of school and work, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, watching classic 80s movies, and spending time with her two rescue dogs and her younger sister. Some of her favorite memories include shopping trips with her mom and going to China One with her dad to enjoy their peanut butter chicken.
Her love of pink and sage green, her appreciation for Jane Austen’s works, and her passion for exploring new experiences make her stand out as both creative and driven. With her bright personality and determination, Madilyn is ready to take on the future with confidence. ❤️🖤

🚀✨ Our sophomores finally got their chance to reach for the skies!
After a year of designing, building, and applying aerospace engineering principles, this group of students launched rockets they created themselves. Last year’s poor weather kept them grounded, but today the skies cleared and their hard work took flight! 🌤️
We are so proud of their dedication, creativity, and persistence—proving that sometimes the best launches just take a little extra time. ❤️🖤

We are especially proud to give you senior ✨Colten Burns✨ on this #WonderfulWednesday!
Colten Burns is a senior at OHHS and Fayette Institute of Technology, where he’s enrolled in the Computer Technology program. Outside of school, you can usually find him fishing, playing golf, or relaxing with his favorite video games. He enjoys beach vacations, hanging out with family and friends, and simply making the most of life.
Colten works part-time at Bob Evans Restaurant, and when he’s not on the clock, he’s often cruising around with the music turned up. At home - his favorite place to be - he loves spending time with his bulldog, Piper. Colten’s favorites include the color blue, Twix candy, and an ice-cold Dr. Pepper. One of his most meaningful roles is being a proud big brother to his stepbrother and stepsister.
After graduation, Colten plans to join his dad’s hydroseeding company and continue building a future close to home. With his love for family, strong work ethic, and easygoing spirit, Colten is ready to take on whatever comes next! ❤️🖤
