🌟Happy National School Principals’ Day! 🌟
Today, we celebrate the heart of Oak Hill High School—our incredible principal, Mrs. Katie Hayes!
Mrs. Hayes is more than just a leader—she’s a lifelong Red Devil. A proud graduate of the Class of 1991, she returned to OHHS in 1999 to teach English, Yearbook, and Journalism, quickly becoming a beloved educator known for her creativity, compassion, and dedication to students. Her deep love for education and the Oak Hill community has guided every step of her career.
In 2012, she transitioned into the role of curriculum specialist, helping shape instruction school-wide. A year later, she became assistant principal, and in 2018, she officially took the helm as principal of Oak Hill High School. Since then, she’s led with strength, grace, and a vision focused on growth, opportunity, and student success.
Mrs. Hayes is not only an outstanding educator—she’s also a devoted mom of three boys - Addison, Jack, and Holden. Outside of school, she loves to read, travel, and stay active with pilates. Her hobbies and interests, warm personality, and strong sense of community help her connect with students, staff, and families on a truly meaningful level.
Whether she's cheering at a game, supporting teachers, or working behind the scenes to make OHHS the best it can be, Mrs. Hayes is the steady hand and kind heart that makes a difference every single day.
Please join us in thanking Mrs. Hayes for her years of service, her unwavering commitment, and her love for Oak Hill. We are proud to have her leading our school and shaping its future!
❤️🖤 Thank you, Mrs. Hayes! 🖤❤️
