❤️ Celebrating National Assistant Principals Week 🖤
We're wrapping up our week of celebration by proudly recognizing Mr. Jason Blankenship during National Assistant Principal’s Week! Mr. Blankenship has served as our assistant principal for nearly two years, but his dedication to Oak Hill runs much deeper. A proud graduate of OHHS, Mr. Blankenship has been part of the Red Devil family for 13 years.
Before stepping into administration, Mr. Blankenship made a lasting impact as a teacher of weightlifting and driver's education. He also led the Red Devils on the field as head football coach for six years, and spent time coaching basketball and track. His passion for athletics and student development continues to shine through in everything he does.
Outside of school, Mr. Blankenship enjoys working out, playing video games, and chasing around his two energetic daughters, Brantlea and Brelyn. He and his wife, Jolysa, are proud members of the Oak Hill community. His favorite teams? The Oak Hill Red Devils, of course—and the Buffalo Bills!
When asked about his role, Mr. Blankenship says, “Working at Oak Hill is a privilege because we have a talented staff and a student body with unlimited potential.” We’re grateful for his leadership, energy, and heart. Thank you, Mr. Blankenship, for all you do! ❤️🖤 #OAKstrong

It's a busy evening for Oak Hill athletics this evening - all four spring sports are competing! You can catch tennis at home as we celebrate our seniors, while track, softball, and baseball are all on the road. Good luck to all of our athletes! ❤️🖤 #onreddevils #OAKstrong

Good luck to our Lady Red Devils as they travel to take on the Flying Eagles this evening! ❤️🥎🖤 #onreddevils

❤️ Celebrating National Assistant Principals Week 🖤
Today, we’re proud to highlight someone who brings dedication, heart, and a great sense of humor to Oak Hill High School every single day—our Assistant Principal, Ms. Christy Carte!
Ms. Carte has worn many hats in education, beginning her journey as a special education teacher and bringing her expertise and passion to all three high schools in Fayette County. Now, she proudly calls OHHS home, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her here!
When she’s not supporting students and staff, you can find Ms. Carte traveling, hiking, attending concerts, or watching true crime documentaries. She treasures time spent with her family and friends—and at home, she’s kept on her toes by her two cats, Jax and Salem, who she affectionately describes as “sometimes nice.”
Ms. Carte brings compassion, strength, and a sense of adventure to her role, and we’re lucky to have her as part of the Red Devil family. Thank you for everything you do, Ms. Carte—this school is better because of you! ❤️🖤 #OAKstrong

❤️ Celebrating National Assistant Principals Week 🖤
To kick off National Assistant Principals Week, we proudly recognize and celebrate Mrs. Brandy Thomas, a dedicated and passionate leader who has made a lasting impact on Oak Hill High School.
Mrs. Thomas has devoted 18 years to education, with the first 11 spent inspiring students in the classroom as a teacher. For the past 7 years, she has served as an Assistant Principal, bringing her experience, heart, and leadership to every corner of the school.
She has been a part of the Oak Hill High School family for 15 years, and to her, it's more than just a workplace—it’s home. As she puts it: “This is my home and my family. I have spent most of my adult life in this building.”
Outside of school, Mrs. Thomas enjoys the world of real estate, reading, and cherishing quality time with her husband, Phil, and their three amazing children—Braylan, Gabby, and Landon—as well as her close-knit circle of family and friends.
Thank you, Mrs. Thomas, for your unwavering dedication, your kind spirit, and your commitment to the students and staff of OHHS. You truly embody what it means to lead with heart. ❤️🖤 #OAKstrong
