Anyone who needs to stop by the school for paper copies of the snow packets may do so today (Jan. 9, 2025) from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. These are the same packets posted on Live Grades and Facebook. If you have access to these sources, there is no additional information to pick up.
If a student is scheduled for testing at Rosedale tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025), it has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date. You will be contacted with the new date if this affects you.
Good afternoon! Our faculty have prepared assignments for the 4 core content areas for students to complete no later than Monday, January 13, 2025. If you do not have internet access, there should be opportunities to complete many of the assignments by watching local and national news channels. Grandparents or older friends and relatives may also be a valuable source of information. It won't be necessary to print any of the attached images, students will simply label the assignment and submit them to the appropriate teachers. ELA/Social Studies combined assignments should be submitted to the ELA teacher and they will take care of recording the respectve grades.
OHMS collected student devices yesterday in an effort to prepare them for our benchmark testing that will begin Monday. Students are not responsible for a snow packet work online today due to the devices being collected. Sorry for any confusion and everyone have a safe weekend.

Tuesday is school picture day at OHMS! Students will bring envelopes home tomorrow, and pictures can be ordered online with a small up-charged fee direct from Cardinal photography. We also have a makeup day scheduled November 18th for anyone unable to take them Tuesday.

OHMS will host a night of student led conferences along with an emphasis on reading with special guest author Chris Ellis on Tuesday, October 15th from 4-7pm. Students and parents/guardians will meet with teachers to discuss iReady, GSA and other important testing information with students leading the way! Every family that attends will also receive a free copy of Chris' most recent book.

Tomorrow kicks off the Scholastic Book Fair at OHMS! All proceeds will benefit the school. The fair will run October 9th-15th. Happy reading everyone!
Beginning 10/04/24 students 8th grade and under must be with an adult (19 or older) to attend all athletic events. Students may sit with friends, go to the restroom and concession stand without an adult. Students WILL NOT be permitted to play ball on fields or courts .
