Valley PK 8 School will be administering the General Summative Assessment in Grades 6-8 Monday April 25, 2022, at 8:15. Testing will take place Monday - Wednesday. Please have your child bring their county issued computer charged and ready to be used.
This is an important announcement for Parents, Students and Faculty of Valley PK 8 School. Valley PK 8 School will be operational for Monday, April 25, 2022. However, there will be no school for students in Pre Kindergarten through Second Grade. These rooms are in the process of having furniture moved back into the classroom. These rooms will be ready for operation on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Again, Valley PK 8 School will be operational for student in grades 3rd through 8th grade. There will be no school on Monday, April 25, 2022 for students in PK, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, Second Grade, Mrs. Tara Warden's room and Miss McKenzie Lewis's room. We appreciate your cooperation and your patience as we work to get these classrooms functional again.

We will be running Oak Hill High School, Midland Trail High School, and Riverside High School transfers with buses in morning and evening. Once again, we would like to thank all the parents and students who participated in our spring fundraiser. Thank you for taking time out of your day to pick the items up. With orders of this magnitude, there are always items that do not get sent. No worries, just make a list of the missing items and send the list to school with your child. We will compile the missing items and send them to Century Resources. Hopefully, we will be able to sort and distribute the awards by Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Fayette county Schools will be releasing early on April 14, 2022 for Faculty Senate. Valley PK-8 buses will be leaving the campus at 12:30 tomorrow.
Spring pictures will be taken on April 20, 2022. Flyers will be sent home with students. The Fraternal Order of Eagles will be sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt on April 17, 2022 at Valley PK-8 Football field. Infants to 12 yrs. Old are welcome. Easter baskets for all kids and drawing for bicycles.

Valley PK-8 School hosted a Career Day for 5-8 grades including GBES. Students were introduced to the many different careers available. The students got to interact with those people in the field. It is a “Great day to be a Greyhound!”

Valley PK-8 PTO will be offering a spaghetti dinner pick up night at the new eating area on April 29, 2022. The time will be from 4:00-6:00. Students will be receiving order forms and tickets this week. The order forms will need to be turned in with money by April 22, 2022. Make checks payable to Valley PTO. The fundraiser will help with programs and field trips for students.
The Middle Level Boys Baseball game has been cancelled this evening.
There will be a two hour early out for students at Valley PK-8 School on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Buses will be leaving the School at 12:30. There will be no school on Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 18, 2022.
