If your child participates in a Coda After School Program, Open House will be Wednesday, Dec. 6th at 4:30 PM in the FPK8 cafeteria. All Coda students should stay after school on Wednesday Dec. 6th. (even if they usually only come on Tuesday or Thursday). Family & friends of students are invited to come. When you arrive, please enter through the gymnasium activity doors. Music students need to bring their instruments and leave them with Coda staff after the performance since it is the last day of Coda for this semester. Hope to see you but if you are unable to attend, bus transportation will still be available. Thank you for supporting our program and for your children’s participation!

8th Grade parents! Your students will be bringing home a paper for the trip to DC. This paper will have a QR code to scan or a website to visit for the trip. Make sure you get it as that is how you will be able to make payments for your child's trip.

Correction- the meeting will be Thursday, November 16th not the 15th.

Hello! This is a reminder that there will be a parent meeting to discuss the 8th Grade Trip to Washington DC Thursday, November 15 at 5 pm. We will be discussing planned fundraisers to cover cost of the trip. Students will also have opportunities to participate in fundraisers to offset their $400 contribution. Students will not be left out of the trip due to inability to pay. If you are unable to attend the meeting, but would like for your child to go on the trip, please reach out to Mrs. Pack at the school for more details or to secure your child's seat. Also, if you are unable to make the $100 deposit, we can make arrangements for support.

Boys will have a home scrimmage this Thursday, November 16. There is no charge for admission. We are asking for donations of canned food for the local food pantry.

PTO will meet on Monday, November 13 at 6:30 in the school cafeteria.

Student Council is extending their Donation Drive in support of New River Animal Rescue. NRAR supports the animals in our area by finding loving homes and rescues for animals in need. Examples of items being collected are: paper towels, bleach, laundry detergent, disinfectant wipes, kitten and puppy food, cat and dog food, treats, and cat litter. The class with the most donations will win an ice cream party! Donations are being accepted through 11/17.

FPK8 is looking for families with students in grades 4-6 who are interested in helping their children develop healthy habits around cell phone use and social media. The group will meet monthly. Meetings will feature new learning, time for students to meet in peer groups and parents to meet in groups with other parents, and wrap up with time together to talk as a family.
Group size will be limited as we pilot this new approach. If you are interested, use the link below to sign up. Our first session will be in November.
