Good evening. This message is for all 4th and 5th grade students. Please remember to dress appropriately to be outdoors for Project Adventure at the Fayette County Park. Students will need to wear multiple layers as the mornings are cooler. Please label your student's clothing items as we have students who take off layers and leave them in various locations. If clothing is labeled, we can make sure the item is returned to the correct child. 4th Graders will attend Thursday and 5th graders will attend Friday.

8th grade students will take the multiple choice portion of the Golden Horseshoe exam tomorrow, March 9th. The Golden Horseshoe is a competition that assesses knowledge of West Virginia Studies. 8th Grade students have the opportunity to offset the cost of their Carowinds trip by participating in the Double Good Popcorn fundraiser. The fundraising event starts at 5 pm March 17th. It will only open for four day. A short sprint sell is an effective way to raise funds. It is 💯 virtual AND the popcorn is shipped directly to the buyer. Parents will download an app to setup their child’s fundraiser. You will then be able to send out a link by text or social media to sell. Students will be able to apply 50 percent of their sales to their trip cost. Additional funds raised will be applied to 8th grade graduation. Please fill out the form on the link below indicating whether you will participate in the fundraiser OR pay for the cost of the trip in full. We need a response from each student planning to attend the trip no later than Friday, March 10th. We will send out directions for the fundraiser on Friday. We will also hold a session for parents who are not able to setup the app on Tuesday, March 14th at 5:00 pm in the cafeteria. https://forms.office.com/r/G2VEPMivaL
