Laurel street, the road leading to Rt 19 in front of Fayetteville PK8 is closed. AEP is setting a few new power poles along this road. Therefore, When going to the school this afternoon for dismissal or after school program, you will need to enter and exit the school using Maple Avenue. You can come in from town or you can come in from the Nickellville area. Thank you.
Hello 8th grade parents! Please remember to come to Oak Hill High School on Tuesday, March 12 at 6:ear00 to learn about everything OHHS has to offer! Meet administrators, counselors, teachers, coaches and students who will be there to talk about what OHHS is all about. There will be a PTO meeting on Monday, February 26 at 6:30 in the school cafeteria. Please come join us!
FPK-8 is launching the Raptor system to improve safety. Parents or guardians must escort a child into the school when signing in. Any adult signing in or signing out a student must have a valid ID. We will scan the ID into the Raptor system so repeated presentation of ID is not needed. Thank you for cooperating with our new safety procedures.
FPK8 is selling Valentine Grams with Carnations as a fundraiser for the 8th grade trip. This includes a flower and message that will be delivered at school on Valentine’s Day.
PK-4 students will be bringing home order forms today.
5th-8th grade students can purchase at school.
The cost is $5 for 1 or $20 for 6. Orders must be placed by Monday, February 12th at 10am.
8th grade parents:
If your student is going on the DC trip make sure you have went online and registered them and made the first payment. These must be complete by Friday, February 9th.
All donations for concession stand need to be dropped off ot the school no later than noon Friday. Thank you.
8th grade parents:
Reminder, there will be a meeting concerning the 8th grade trip Thursday, February 1st, at 5pm. Please plan to attend. Fundraising opportunities will be discussed, as well as new trip details.
There will be a Valentine’s dance Feb. 23 for all students. Times will be:
K-2 4:30-5:30
3-5 6:00-7:00
6-8 7:30-8:30
Admission is $5 and concessions will be available
The parent meeting concerning the 8th grade trip scheduled for January 15th has been canceled.
We will be having a parent/student meeting for all students who are going on the 8th grade trip this Monday, January 15th at 5pm in the cafeteria. Please plan to attend as we will be going over important information and fundraising opportunities.
